REGRESSIONE LINEARE

I make my living from statistics every day of my life. In statistics, linear regression is a model that explores the relationship between two variables based on sample data extracted from a hypothetical infinite population. Let's replace numbers with human emotions. This project explores the relationship between the adult me and the people, places and feelings of my childhood. My sample data are small and sometimes insignificant photographs. The regression is my journey backwards, to where and how I grew up, aware that I no longer belong to that world, but unable to completely detach myself from it.

The ultimate purpose of linear regression in statistics is to estimate an expected value, in other words to predict the future based on observations of the past. Unconsciously is that what I want from this work?

What is lost is also what I am now, my regression with eyes half closed in memories.
