Simone was born in 1985 in the Italian Alps and in a large family. As a child, he learned to photograph from his father. He studied and graduated as a veterinarian. After specializing and working for a few years in laboratory medicine, he started to feel the need to discover himself using the camera. His personal works focus on liminality and resilience, nature and spirituality, non-conforming social minorities, family and long-term relationships, mental disease and caregiving. Now based in Novara, North Italy.
